As previously reported, MESHUGGAH's new studio album, "Catch 33", is scheduled for release on May 16 in Europe and May 31 in the U.S. via Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2002's "Nothing" is being described as one continuous 47-minute song divided into 13 parts and is said to be "musically the opposite" of the group's 2004 EP, "I".

The artwork, which was designed by MESHUGGAH drummer Tomas Haake, is "a visual compliment of sorts to the album title, i.e the paradoxes/negations/contradictions of life and death (as we see it in our finest moments of unrestrained metaphoric interpretation) that the lyrics [on the new album] deal with!" according to Haake.
